“Home business,” “home occupation,” “cottage industry,” or related terms means the accessory use of the residence (home) for a business conducted only by residents of the dwelling. This does not include storefronts or businesses that invite the public in for sales or services.
Home businesses are permitted in every zone in the unincorporated portions of Pend Oreille County. The City of Newport and the towns of Metaline Falls, Metaline, Ione and Cusick all have conventional zoning.
