While paddling at Big Meadow Lake, a Bald Eagle landed on a dead snag on an island in the middle of the lake, attracting the ire of several types of birds that were nesting on the island. They began to dive bomb the eagle in an attempt to get it to leave. The eagle put up with it for a while, but was clearly irritated and feeling pestered. The barrage of birds dive bombing it did eventually work, and it flew off to a different area of the lake.
